Diego Schaerer focuses his practice on antitrust/competition law and compliance. He joined Morales & Besa in 2022. Previously, he worked as a lawyer on antitrust and insurance matters at Ovalle & Cía. Abogados (2016-2018), while providing legal counsel on antitrust compliance, and more recently as legislative advisor to the Cabinet of the Ministry of Economy, Development and Tourism of Chile (2018-2021).
He has experience in regulatory and antitrust matters, having participated in the drafting of the new regulation on the notification of concentration operations before the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (“FNE”), as well as in the drafting and legislative processing of numerous bills on competition matters, consumer rights, intellectual property, among others.
